Girls' Volleyball in the PIAA State Tournament Semifinals
Our girls' volleyball team achieved a victory against Berlin Brothersvalley on Saturday, winning the match in a dramatic five-set showdown! They are now set to face Maplewood in the PIAA State Semifinal, scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, at Grove City High School, with the match commencing at 7:30 PM. A victory in this game will send them to the PIAA State title on Saturday at 10:30 AM, held at Cumberland Valley High School in Chambersburg. Eden Christian Academy Honored for Sportsmanship at the WPIAL Sportsmanship Summit
The WPIAL held its annual Sportsmanship Summit at the Heinz History Center, and Eden was proudly represented by juniors Maris, Hannah, Luca, and Noah, along with Mr. Helsel. Eden received the WPIAL Sportsmanship Award for the first time ever! This recognition reflects the character, integrity, and teamwork our student-athletes demonstrate both on and off the field. Congratulations to our girls' volleyball team, who defeated #1-seeded Frazier in the WPIAL semifinals 3-1 to advance to the WPIAL Finals against section rival Serra Catholic, whom we split during the season. Our Varsity Girls Volleyball team is on a roll! Last week, they swept Springdale Junior/Senior High School 3-0 to advance to the WPIAL Quarterfinals. On Saturday, they took down St. Joseph’s, earning their spot in the WPIAL Semifinals! Back-to-Back State Qualifiers: Girls XC & Jack Hurley
In a competitive field of 161 runners across 17 teams, Eden’s Girls Cross Country team placed 4th, clinching the final spot to advance to the PIAA State Championships for the second year in a row! Junior Hannah Wallace led the team with a 12th place finish and a time of 20:40. Senior Keira Anderson was 27th (21:27), Sophomore Mimi Chamberlain was 33rd (21:38), Senior Hailey Incorvati was 44th (22:09), Junior Leah Wallace was 52nd (22:36), Junior Lila Sand was 55th (22:46) and Junior Nina Wygant was 79th (24:22).Sophomore Jack Hurley also qualified for the second year in a row to run in the PIAA Championships with a 24th-place finish and an impressive time of 17:30! The PIAA Championships will be held in Hershey, PA, on November 1. Good luck, Warriors!

Cross Country competing in the Country Championships!
Eden Christian Academy's Cross Country team will be competing in the Country Championships on 10/23 at White Oak Park (McKeesport, PA). Tickets can be purchased at WPIAL Events and Tickets by GoFan. NOTE: There WILL NOT be a fee charged to park at this year’s championships. Instead of a parking fee, each spectator will need to purchase a ticket online.

Eden Christian rallies past Saegertown to head back to PIAA Class A final
Boys Varsity BaseballClutch hitting and a calm sophomore pitcher carried the Eden Christian baseball team back to the PIAA Class A baseball championship game. A three-run double by sophomore catcher Josh Tiden in a four-run fifth inning and solid pitching from sophomore Noah Emswiler rallied Eden Christian past District 10 runner-up Saegertown, 7-5, at Slippery Rock’s Jack Critchfield Park. The victory puts Eden Christian (19-6) in the championship game at 10:30 a.m. Friday against District 1 champion Faith Christian (22-0) at Penn State’s Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Faith Christian advanced with a 6-1 victory against Bishop McCort. This is the second time that Eden Christian has reached the championship game. It lost to Halifax, 9-1, in 2021. “We’re hoping for a better outcome,” coach Mark Feldman said. “The more you play in these games, the more you are prepared. CoEd Varsity SwimmingEden Warrior and freshman, Noah Pickett, broke the Cornell High School Record in the 500 freestyle by 4 seconds tonight (he won the event by over 30 seconds). The new team record is now 4:57.81 and he is now in the top 10 for WPIALS in this event.
